To provide a method for treating a water-granulated substance of a waste-melting furnace which prevents the water-granulated substance discharged out of the waste-melting furnace from wearing appliances and pipes and biting appliances, deals with alteration of the transportation amount, makes adjustment water balance easy, and lessens appliances and pipes and a facility for the method.
A water-granulated substance obtained by water granulation treatment of molten matter 2 discharged out of a waste-melting furnace for melting treatment of wastes in a water granulation tank 3 is sieved into slag, metals, and large agglomerates with 15 mm or larger size with an oscillating conveyor 20; the sieved slag and metals are separated by a magnetic separator 21; agglomerates with 5 mm or larger size are separated from slag by a vibrating sieve 22; the sieved slag is mixed and stirred with stirring water in a slurry supply tank 23; and the slurry is transported to a draining conveyer 25 for drainage.
