Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage document files of different file formats by converting them to an unified data format.SOLUTION: A document database 5 stores document data 30 and clip document data 40. The document data 30 stores original data of various data formats and data for reference of a prescribed data format converted from the original data. The clip document data 40 stores coupled data for reference of the prescribed data format in which a plurality of pieces of data for reference are coupled. A document operation processing unit 7 of a document management server 1 acquires the original data to convert it to the data for reference, and stores the document data 30 in which the original data and the data for reference are stored in a document database 5. The document operation processing unit 7 further acquires the plurality of pieces of data for reference from the document database 5, generates the coupled data for reference by coupling each data for reference, and stores the clip document data in which the generated coupled data for reference is stored in the document database 5.
