PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dewatering wiper for steel making for removing cooling water from a pressure roll of a continuous hot-rolled steel plate rolling facility which uses a phenol resin material as a base material, has a cooling function on the side facing a rolled steel plate, and has improved durability.SOLUTION: A water-permeable layer 15 which is formed of a felt or a non-woven fabric and has a hydrous performance is laminated on a side facing a rolled steel plate of a phenol resin laminated plate 14, and a plurality of flow channels 16 which communicate with the water-permeable layer and pass through an opposite side surface to the water-permeable layer are formed on the phenol resin laminated plate. On the opposite side surface to the water-permeable layer of the phenol resin laminated plate, a plurality of grooves 17 whose width is larger than a diameter of the flow channel are formed in parallel with each other with a direction orthogonal to a rotation center axis of a rolling mill roll as a reference and at an angle in a range of 0-45° and at least the two flow channels are formed in the groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
