PURPOSE: To provide the simple reception phase difference detection method not requiring a counter and its control circuit exclusively for detecting a phase difference in a conventional method with respect to the reception phase difference detection method detecting a phase difference between a reference phase and a bit phase of burst reception data of each slot received from each of plural (n) mobile equipments by a base station receiver in TDMA communication.

CONSTITUTION: The method is provided with plural (n) sets of slot counters 2 counting data bit number N of each slot independently while synchronization of plural (n) sets of slots received from plural mobile equipments is detected and a reference main counter 1 used in common for count of each slot, counting a reference clock of a predetermined equipment in a reference timing, and counting each slot in the unit of a product Nn between a data bit number N and a slot number (n). Then, an output of an adder 3 incrementing/ decrementing the result of the comparison of the counts of both the counters 1, 2 is used for a phase difference Φ between the reference phase and a phase of data bit of each slot to be received.
