Abstract:
To achieve highly accurate position control by using a detection signal from a motor shaft encoder in multi-motor control.SOLUTION: A driving device according to an aspect of a disclosed technology is a driving device that drives a shaft to be driven by using a first motor including a first rotation detection unit, and a second motor including a second rotation detection unit, and comprises a control unit that controls the first motor and the second motor. The first motor gives driving torque to the shaft to be driven; the second motor reduces backlash between the first motor and the shaft to be driven; the control unit controls the motors on the basis of a detection signal from the second rotation detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
