Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably select assist strength of an auxiliary device which assists a user by electric power.SOLUTION: There is provided a drive mode selection device for selecting a drive mode of an auxiliary device which assists a user by generating power using electric power of a battery and can be driven by plural drive modes with different outputs. The drive mode selection device comprises: a task information acquisition part which acquires task information being information on a prescribed task executed by the auxiliary device; a remaining capacity acquisition part which acquires remaining capacity of the battery; a power estimation part which estimates excess/deficiency of electric energy on the basis of the task information and remaining capacity of the battery; and a mode selection part which selects a drive mode on the basis of the result of the estimation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
