Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of quickly determining the presence/absence of occurrence of a disconnection in regard to a bifilar wound motor coil.SOLUTION: A driving device 30 for a motor having a pair of bifilar wound coils L1 and L2, comprises: switching elements 41 and 42 connected to the pair of coils L1 and L2, respectively; a current detection resistance 45 positioned between the switching element 41 and a ground; and a disconnection detection unit 73 that detects the presence/absence of a disconnection on the basis of a voltage detected by the current detection resistance 45. The disconnection detection unit 73 detects the presence/absence of a disconnection in the coil L2 on the basis of the magnitude of a speed of decrease D in voltage Vr when the voltage between opposite terminals of the current detection resistance 45 decreases immediately after the switching element 41 is switched from ON to OFF in a state where the switching element 42 is OFF.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
