Abstract:
To provide a brake mechanism capable of adjusting a surface pressure acting on a drum body.SOLUTION: A first divided shoe web 31a and a second divided shoe web 31b, which one brake shoe 30 has, are connected by a support member 45 that is provided at a boundary portion Tb between the first divided shoe web 31a and the second divided shoe web 31b so that the first divided shoe web 31a and the second divided shoe web 31b can be brought close to each other and separated from each other around the boundary portion Tb. The first divided shoe web 31a and the second divided shoe web 31b, which the one brake shoe 30 has, are provided with a divided shoe distance adjusting mechanism 50 that maintains the first divided shoe web 31a and the second divided shoe web 31b in a state in which they are brought close to each other and separated from each other around the support member 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
