Abstract:
The procedure, consisting of panel shaping, hardening with hydration and drying while rotating, has the drying carried out in a drum with one or more drying sections rotating inside a chamber (15), or in two or more drums with different drying sections and recuperation of the latent heat from water condensation, followed by a cooling stage. The drum has a central shaft (13) and hollow radial teeth (14a, 14b, 14c) for circulating hot gases and water vapor.
