Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the battery arrangement structure of an electric automobile which can conduct sufficient and equal air cooling even if they are battery cells for a rapid charging system.

CONSTITUTION: As plural battery cells B1-B8, C1-C8 are arranged in a state in which spaces S1-S4 are secured between respective battery cells, the contact area of air in regard to battery cells increases, and a cooling effect is increased. Moreover, as for the space sizes, distant spaces S2-S4 are larger than the space S1 at the center of a vehicle width in the vicinity of an air intake 20, so the flow of air in a battery case 15 is equalized, and the uniform cooling of battery cells can be embodied.
