Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying method by which converter dust can be efficiently dried.SOLUTION: A drying method is employed to dry converter dust D collected by wet-type recovery system for recycling. The converter dust is processed through a first step where the converter dust and mill scale M are stacked, and a second step where the dust stacked in the first step is put into a drying machine to dry it. The first step includes a putting and stacking step where the converter dust and mill scale are each passed through a sieve 2, put into a storage hopper 1 alternately and stacked therein, and a dropping and accumulating step where the stacked dust in the storage hopper is cut and discharged onto a conveyor 3 and dropped from the conveyance outlet 3a of the conveyor to be accumulated.
