Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector for water intake which hardly causes dust adhesion to a screen material and prevents clogging of the screen material for a long period of time without maintenance to enable stable water intake, and a hydraulic power generator using the dust collector.SOLUTION: The dust collector for water intake comprises: a basket-like dust removal box 10 which encloses a region along a flow direction of a water passage continuing from a water intake port 41 to the upstream side with a mesh-like screen material 12; and a plurality of guide plates 20 which are fixed to the inner surface of the screen material 12 in the dust removal box 10 at predetermined intervals in the flow direction of the water passage. Each guide plate 20 is provided in an inclined state so that its base end edge facing the downstream side of the water passage is fixed to the inner surface of the screen material 12, and its tip edge facing the upstream side of the water passage rises to the inside of the dust removal box 10 from the inner surface of the screen material 12 at a place to which its base end edge is fixed.
