Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic wave device capable of being reduced in size.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an elastic wave device including: a piezoelectric substrate 10; a first IDT 20 located on the piezoelectric substrate and including a plurality of electrode fingers 22a, 22b and two bus bars 26a, 26b; and a second IDT 40 located on the piezoelectric substrate, including a plurality of electrode fingers 42a, 42b and two bus bars 46a, 46b and connected in series to the first IDT 20. In the elastic wave device, the first IDT 20 and the second IDT 40 share a single common bus bar 50 as one bus bar 26b of the two bus bars of the first IDT 20 and one bus bar 46b of the two bus bars of the second IDT 40, the common bus bar 50 has a width W3 that is not more than two times of a wavelength of an elastic wave propagating through the first IDT 20 and the second IDT 40, and a dummy electrode finger is not connected to the common bus bar 50, the dummy electrode finger facing each tip of the electrode fingers 22a, 42a connected to another bus bars 26a, 46a of the two bus bars of the first IDT 20 and the second IDT 40, respectively, across a gap 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
