Abstract:
To improve reproductivity in detection of a load (a thrust force) of an electric brake device.SOLUTION: An electric brake device 1 drives a brake member (a brake pad) with an electric motor to control contact with a braked member (a disc) and includes: a driving mechanism 9 which conducts rotational motion to move the brake member; and a load sensor 11 which detects a load acting on the driving mechanism 9. The driving mechanism 9 has: rolling elements 9c arranged in a circumferential direction of the rotational motion; and a retainer 9d which retains the rolling elements 9c. The retainer 9d has a positioning mechanism N, 9e which positions the rolling elements 9c at predetermined positions in the circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
