Abstract:
To provide a motor compressor capable of improving the heat radiation of a housing, actualizing the confirmation of a rating plate from the outside, and improving the reliability of mounting the rating plate while suppressing a reduction in the noise reducing effects.SOLUTION: A motor compressor 10 includes: a compression part 30 for compressing refrigerant sucked from a sucking chamber S1 and discharging it into a discharging chamber S2; an electric motor 40; an invertor 50; a housing 20; a noise-proof cover 70 for covering an outer face 20a of the housing 20; and a rating plate 60. The housing 20 has: a third structure 23 as an invertor storage part; and a second structure 22 as a discharge part. A portion corresponding to the invertor storage part, out of the outer face 20a, is a first outer face, and a portion corresponding to the discharge part, out of the outer face 20a, is a second outer face. The rating plate 60 is provided on a second face 23b out of the first outer face. The noise-proof cover 70 has a through part 73 as a window for visibly recognizing the rating plate 60, in a site corresponding to the rating plate 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
