Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that introducing of a home energy management system for centralized control of an operation of a dryer requires a considerable expense and is difficult to introduce to each household as a price plan that is more minute than a conventional price plan is expected to change in a relatively short period because of the deregulation of a power rate, and the dryer which can only correspond to a conventional late-night charge cannot correspond to a newest price plan.SOLUTION: A dryer includes receiving means which receives an operation plan from a communication device by communicating with the communication device while the communication device for receiving power rate data from an electric power company creates the operation plan from the received power rate data and time data input in the communication device and dries an article to be dried by power from the electric power company in accordance with the received operation plan.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
