Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric furnace for a molten metal hot-water supply device which is disposed in a storage tank of moten metal and is capable of suppressing oxidization of the molten metal and supplying the molten metal to the storage tank.SOLUTION: An electric furnace for a molten metal hot-water supply device includes a melting crucible 341 which is disposed in a storage tank 311 for storing molten metal 301 so as to heat and melt a metallic material. The melting crucible 341 includes: a metallic material storage chamber 341a which has an opening 341c at one end so as to store the metallic material; a plurality of electric heaters 342 arranged around the metallic material storage chamber 341a; and a through hole 341b communicated with the outside at the other end of the metallic material storage chamber 341a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
