Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a wire dot type print head in which number of components is decreased on the periphery of the head while drastically reducing interference between dot wire and ribbon, and hooking due to shift of operational timing.
CONSTITUTION: The print head comprises a plurality of print elements each having its own dot wire 20, and a nose part 11a having front part provided with a pin guide 21 for guiding the tip part of each dot wire 20. A ribbon guide groove 18 having depth of δ2 is made at the tip of the nose part 11a and the pin guide 21 has a front recessed by a depth δ1 from the ribbon guide groove 18.
