Abstract:
The contact pin has a shaft, an elastically deformable press-in section (14) with three or more contact zones (26) wider than the hole dia. (30), a tip and a transition region (16) before the press-in section with contact zones joined to those of the press-in section on a conical transition surface and ending at a distance from the tip. A positioning section (18) before the transition section has axially parallel contact zones (36) on a dia. at least approximately equal to the circuit board hole dia., joined on to the transition section's contact zones and ending in a narrowing insertion section (20).
