Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and electrically-driven power steering device having the same, capable of relieving a processing load on controller side by inherently containing a tertiary harmonic wave in an induction electromotive force waveform of a motor to be controlled and capable of improving voltage utilization efficiency of a power supply.SOLUTION: The motor, comprised of a stator and a rotor housed in the stator and fitted with a magnet, is structured to change a shape of the front or rear of the magnet by 3 cycles per one cycle of an electric phase angle along the rotational direction of the rotor. The electrically-driven power steering device includes the motor containing a tertiary harmonic wave in a magnetic flux distribution of the rotor and mounted as a drive source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
