Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an inrush current when closing a system main relay.SOLUTION: A power source system 2 of a fuel cell vehicle 100 comprises a main battery 3, a fuel cell 7, a DC converter 10, and an inverter 6. The DC converter 10 includes a filter capacitor 14. The power source system further comprises: a smoothing capacitor 5 connected between the DC converter 10 and the inverter 6; and a controller 9. The controller turns on a transistor 16a, and operates the fuel cell 7 and a voltage converter 8 for FC, and pre-charges the filter capacitor 14 and the smoothing capacitor 5, before closing a system main relay 4. The controller closes the system main relay 4 when the difference between a voltage across both terminals of the filter capacitor 14 and an output voltage of the main battery 3 decreases to below a predetermined voltage difference threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
