Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for controlling a motor that is low in cost and that has a high power efficiency.SOLUTION: A power supply device (10A) for controlling a motor comprises: an inverter circuit (1) that converts a DC current supplied from a DC power supply (100) into an AC current by switching operations of a plurality of switching elements (11-16); a microcomputer (3A) that generates a control signal for switching operation of the plurality of switching elements (11-16); and a step-up converter circuit (5) that receives an operation voltage of the microcomputer (3A) generated by stepping down a DC voltage of the DC power supply (100), and steps up the voltage to generate a drive voltage for the plurality of switching elements (11-16). The microcomputer (3A) generates a pulse modulation signal depending on an output voltage of the step-up converter circuit (5) and inputs the pulse modulation signal to the step-up converter circuit (5). The step-up converter circuit (5) performs DC voltage conversion according to the pulse modulation signal inputted from the microcomputer (3A).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
