To provide an electric screen which facilitates the construction and needs only a narrow area for the construction work when long electrode rods are constructed.

The electric screen 1 is constructed as follows. Namely, a fixing concrete 7 is constructed over a water intake passage 2b where a water intake port screen 3 is installed, and an electrode rod fixing pipe 5 is temporarily fixed to the fixing concrete 7. After that, a plurality of rod parts 4a are connected. The rod parts 4a are moved down to the inside of the water intake passage 2b one after another while the electrode rods 4 which are freely bendable at rod part connecting parts 4b, respectively, are held up by an upper part of the fixing pipe 5 to have the state that the electrode rods 4 are bent at the connecting part 4b, and are finally fixed to the fixing pipe 5. After the electrode rod screen 6 is formed by fixing each of the electrode rods 4 to the fixing pipe 5, the fixing pipe 5 is fixed to the fixing concrete 7. Then, a voltage impression device 8, etc., is installed to impress voltage between the intake port screen 3 and the electrode rod screen 6.
