Abstract:
A cable cover stripping device comprises a plurality of cable chucks and a plurality of cover shearing blades. A plurality of cable chucks are capable of holding a cable such that a plurality of the cable chucks are relatively movable relative to the cable in the length direction of the cable. The cable includes a core wire and a cover covering the core wire. As the cable and cable chucks move relative to one another, the plurality of cover shearing blades are capable of shearing covered portions of the cable that are held by the cable chucks over a predetermined length.
