Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power receiver capable of easily and inexpensively performing alignment with appropriate accuracy.SOLUTION: A power receiver comprises: a secondary coil for receiving power in a non-contact manner from a primary coil disposed on a plane having a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction orthogonal to each other; a drive unit capable of displacing the secondary coil's relative position on the plane to the primary coil; a display unit; and a processing unit for processing video to be displayed on the display unit. The processing unit determines a target area on the plane, the target area including the primary coil; calculates the relative position and an inclination of the secondary coil against the primary coil on the basis of a coupling coefficient between the primary coil and the secondary coil and a temporal variation in the coupling coefficient; and when the secondary coil is included in the target area's lateral direction, displays the relative position and either of the inclination of the secondary coil and a corrected inclination of the secondary coil on the display unit. A display mode of the relative position to be displayed on the display unit is changed depending on a variation in the longitudinal direction in the relative position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
