Abstract:
To improve the power generation performance of an electrochemical reaction device by suppressing Mn poisoning of an electrolyte layer.SOLUTION: An electrochemical reaction device includes a flow path defining member that defines a specific gas flow path for exchanging gas with a fuel electrode. The flow path defining member contains Mn and Cr, and at least a portion of the portion defining the specific gas flow path is an oxide film. After conducting an accelerated heating test for the flow path defining member at 1000°C for 100 hours in a hydrogen atmosphere containing 20% water vapor, and when analyzed using an electron beam microanalyzer, the average value Ca of the Mn concentration in the cross section along the thickness direction of the oxide film is 21.0 mass% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
