Abstract:
An electrochemical reduction device (10) comprising an electrode unit (100), a power control unit (20), an organic product storage tank (30), a concentration acquisition unit (34), a water storage tank (40), an air/water separation unit (50), and a control unit (60). The electrode unit (100) has an electrolyte membrane (110), a reduction electrode (120), and an oxygen generating electrode (130). A raw material supply amount adjustment unit (62) adjusts the amount of organic fluid, including an aromatic compound, supplied to the reduction electrode (120), in accordance with the concentration of the aromatic compound obtained by the concentration acquisition unit (34).
