Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for water electrolysis that is inexpensive and has a high power efficiency, namely, a low hydrogen generation voltage.SOLUTION: An electrode for water electrolysis comprises a second metal body obtained as follows: with a first metal body blackened by surface microstructuring as a base material, a second metal body is electrodepositioned in a neutral region on a rough surface of the first metal body; and from the second metal body, the first metal body as the base material is removed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
