Abstract:
To provide an electrolysis cell of an electrochemical reaction device capable of performing reduction treatment of carbon dioxide efficiently and stably.SOLUTION: There is provided an electrolysis cell 20 which comprises a cathode 22, a cathode-side supply structure 16 for supplying carbon dioxide and an electrolyte to the cathode 22, an anion exchange membrane 24 facing a liquid phase passage 61 through which the electrolyte flows in the cathode-side supply structure 16, an anode 26 located on the opposite side of the cathode-side supply structure 16 across the anion exchange membrane 24 and an anode side flow passage structure 121 disposed at a distance with respect to the anion exchange membrane 24 and in which a fluid flow passage 41 is formed to bring the anode 26 into contact with the electrolyte from the opposite side of the anion exchange membrane 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
