Abstract:
To detect an abnormality in a measurement target fluid with a simpler circuit configuration.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic flowmeter 1 provides a magnetic field generated by an excitation current to a measurement target fluid flowing in a tube 13 and measures the flow rate of the measurement target fluid on the basis of a detection signal generated in a measurement electrode 14 provided in the tube 13. The electromagnetic flowmeter 1 has a control unit 21 for extracting a frequency component higher than a predetermined frequency from the detection signal as a high-frequency component and detecting the presence or absence of an abnormality in the measurement target fluid on the basis of the extracted high-frequency component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
