Abstract:
Electromagnetic device for interfacial fusion and stirring of a di phasic system, made up of first and second immiscible phases, comprises: (a) a crucible destined to contain the di phasic system; (b) a field winding enclosing the crucible; (c) a means for powering the field winding with a double component current, namely a high frequency component for melting the system phase and a low frequency component for stirring the interface (12) of the phases.
