PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-tube traveling body capable of smooth traveling in the length direction within a tubular space, which can be advantageously used for usages of an electromagnetic generator, a centroid movable lure, a slide unit and the like.SOLUTION: An in-tube traveling body 21 includes: a cylindrical sphere retainer 23 having at least three lines of sphere circulation grooves composed of a sphere rotation moving groove provided with slit-like openings which permit partial exposure of a plurality of spheres to an outer circumferential surface and an inner circumferential surface and sphere feedback grooves connected to one side end part and the other side end part of the sphere rotation moving groove; a plurality of spheres 24 stored in the sphere circulation grooves of the cylindrical sphere retainer 23; and a shaft body inserted and fastened to the inner side of the cylindrical sphere retainer 23. Thereby, the traveling of the in-tube traveling body along the length direction of a tubular space is permitted by a rotation under contacting between the inner circumferential surface of the tubular body of the sphere stored in the sphere rotation moving groove and the outer circumferential surface of the shaft body and a relative movement for the tubular space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
