Abstract:
To provide an electronic device which can suppress contact between a bottom surface of a housing and another member due to sagging of a flexible flat cable.SOLUTION: An electronic device comprises: a housing 1; a reading unit 8 which moves in the front-rear direction in the housing 1; and a flexible flat cable 2 having a holding object part 2a which is held by a side wall 1c of the housing 1 and a connection part 2b which is electrically connected to the reading unit 8. The reading unit 8 comprises: a rear side surface 8a to which the flexible flat cable 2 is fixed; and a front side surface 8b which is located on the opposite side to the rear side surface 8a in the front-rear direction. In the rear side surface 8a, the width W1 to the front side surface 8b in a lower side portion located at a distance H1 from the bottom surface 1a is apart with respect to the width W2 to the front side surface 8b in an upper side portion located at a distance H2 greater than the distance H1 from the bottom surface 1a. In the flexible flat cable 2, the width direction thereof is fixed along the substantially vertical direction connecting the upper side portion and the lower side portion of the rear side surface 8a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
