Abstract:
To provide an elevator apparatus capable of suppressing lubricating oil which flies from a balance weight to a car.SOLUTION: An elevator apparatus comprises an elevator car, a main rope to suspend the car, a balance weight which is suspended by the main rope, moves up/down on the back side of the car, guide rails to guide the balance weight movement, guide shoes provided on the balance weight and slidably engaging with the guide rails, and shield plates on the weight side to cover the circumference of the side surface of the guide shoe facing the car. The shield plate on the weight side is fixed to a rectangular frame of the balance weight.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
