Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emblem easy to be mounted on an industrial product and having a rational manufacturing cost, a transparent thick feeding, excellent degree of freedoms of molding a surface shape, no strain on the surface, giving stereoscopic feeling and high grade impression irrespective of relatively light weight and scarcely suffering damage of a mark or the like and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The emblem is formed by printing a periphery 3 by a printer so that a character or a pattern 2 is punched on the surface of an aluminum base material 1, embossing the material 1 so that the part of the character or the pattern 2 not printed on the material 1 becomes a protruding surface, profile punching the surface of the material 1 formed with a transparent clear coating layer 4 in a predetermined emblem shape by a press, and drawing the emblem-semi-fabricated product thus profile punched to form the entirety in a curved surface state.
