Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery which can be discharged again by applying external force to a current interruption mechanism once activated.SOLUTION: A sealed battery includes positive and negative electrodes and a case accommodating the electrodes, and is provided with a conductive path between at least one of the electrodes and an external terminal exposed on the outside of the case. The sealed battery includes a current interruption/reconnection mechanism which shuts off the conductive path when internal pressure in the case increases, and reconnects the shut-off conductive path to resume the conduction by applying a force from the outside of the case.
