Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent production of glass powder from an end surface to the utmost by improving the end surface property of a glass plate.SOLUTION: An end surface processing method for a glass plate according to the present invention includes: a preparation step S1 of preparing a subassembly 25 for a grindstone 11 (12) with a static run-out of 40 μm or less and a dynamic balance 50 g mm or less and a flange 20 for attaching the grindstone; and an end surface processing step S3 of applying predetermined processing to an end surface 2 of the glass plate 1 by attaching the subassembly 25 to a spindle 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
