Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end position detection system of electrode for electrochemical cell, which allows for accurate detection of the end position in the width direction even if a background member is contaminated, and to provide a manufacturing method.SOLUTION: An end position detection system of an electrode for electrochemical cell having coating parts 2, 3 containing a black material on a metal foil 1 has a guide roller 10, i.e., a background member of lower lightness than the coating parts 2, 3, a front line camera 8 and a back line camera 9, i.e., imaging means for capturing the images of the coating parts 2, 3 and the guide roller 10, and image processing means 13 for specifying the end position of the electrode for electrochemical cell based on the image information captured by the imaging means, i.e., the front line camera 8 and back line camera 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
