Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance of combustion by fuel injection through an air intake port injector and curb variations of EGR gas among cylinders of an engine equipped with a plurality of air intake port, surge tanks respectively installed at an upstream side of the air intake ports, and the air intake port injector.SOLUTION: An engine EGR device comprises: at least two air intake ports 19a and 19b to introduce intake air to a combustion chamber of an engine; surge tanks 15a and 15b arranged at an upstream side of the air intake ports; an air intake port injector 23 installed on one of the air intake ports 19a and 19b; and an exhaust recirculation passage 56 with one end thereof connected to an exhaust passage 52 and the other end thereof connected to the surge tank 15b installed at an upstream side of the other air intake port 19b to recirculate a portion of exhaust to the other air intake port 19b.
