Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid generation of surging when reducing output torque from an engine, and to inhibit deterioration in acceleration responsiveness.SOLUTION: An engine control device reduces the output torque from the engine (1) by throttling a degree of opening of a throttle valve (19) and retarding an ignition timing in response to a torque down request issued from ATCU (111) at shift operation by an automatic transmission (109) and regulates the degree of throttling of the throttle valve (19) at that time so as not to allow an air bypass valve (27) to open.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
