Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of preventing occurrence of vehicle vibration right after engine starting.SOLUTION: In an ignition timing control device of an engine that includes a catalyst in an exhaust passage and increases temperature of exhaust air flowing into the catalyst by making ignition timing at engine starting delayed with respect to ignition timing at idle time, when engine rotation speed passes through a predetermined rotation speed area as a vehicle resonance zone at engine starting, ignition timing at which a peak of engine rotation speed occurs in the rotation speed area is made advanced with respect to the delayed ignition timing.
