Title:
An engine control device
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6197825
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress engine vibration which is generated at changeover to a reduced-cylinder operation from a full-cylinder operation.SOLUTION: When there is a changeover requirement to a reduced-cylinder operation from a full-cylinder operation, intake amount change means 34 starts to perform intake amount increase control for increasing intake amounts of cylinders 2A to 2D toward intake amounts at the reduced-cylinder operation. Then, a valve stop mechanism 25a brings an intake valve 8 and an exhaust valve 9 of the specified cylinders (2A, 2D) into valve-closed holding states prior to the arrival of the intake amounts of the cylinders 2A to 2D to the intake amounts at the reduced-cylinder operation, starts the reduced-cylinder operation by stopping the ignition of the ignition means of the specified cylinders (2A, 2D), and increases torque which is outputted from the cylinder more than torque at a normal full-cylinder operation at least at one combustion cycle immediately before a start of the reduced-cylinder operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
