Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an engine capable of surely introducing a burned gas to a combustion chamber even in supercharging by a supercharger in high load, while reducing cooling loss.SOLUTION: A control device of an engine 1 has VVL, VVT for changing a valve closing timing of an exhaust valve 22 in an exhaust stroke and opening the exhaust valve in an intake stroke, VVL for changing a valve opening timing of an intake valve 21 in the intake stroke, and PCM 10 controlling the VVL and VVT according to an operating state of the engine, and controlling a supercharging pressure. The PCM opens the exhaust valve in the intake stroke to introduce a burned gas into a cylinder 18 in a first operation region, and controls the VVL and VVT to allow the burned gas to remain in the cylinder in a NVO timing, and to close the exhaust valve in the intake stroke in a second operation region at a higher load side with respect to the first operation region, so that a supercharging pressure in the second operation region becomes higher than a supercharging pressure in the first operation region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
