Abstract:
To provide a control device for an engine capable of securing reliability of the engine and cancelling a discomfort for a passenger in a compatible manner.SOLUTION: A control device for an engine comprises: a throttle valve 12 which regulates an air quantity to be supplied to an engine 1 via suction passages 2a and 2b; a rotation speed sensor 41, an accelerator opening sensor 42, an air quantity sensor 43 and an I/C temperature sensor 44 for detecting an operational state of the engine; and an ECU 9 which controls the throttle valve 12 on the basis of the operational state of the engine 1 detected by the sensors 41 and 42. The ECU 9 estimates a stored oil quantity Q of oils stored in a chamber 31 on the basis of the operational state of the engine 1 detected by the sensors 41, 43 and 44 and, in the case where the stored oil quantity Q is equal to or more than a threshold A1, limits the air quantity in such a manner the air quantity to be supplied to the engine 1 does not exceed a threshold A4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
