Abstract:
To speedily obtain an octane value of fuel after refueling.SOLUTION: A control device of an engine 1 comprises: a fuel supply section (injector 6 and fuel supply system 61); an ignition section (ignition plug 25); a measuring section (in-cylinder pressure sensor SW5); and a control section (ECU 10). The control section sequentially estimates an octane value on the basis of a measurement signal, sequentially updates an octane value in a manner that reflects the estimated octane value in the stored octane value, and stores the updated octane value. When a fuel tank 63 is refilled, the control section keeps a high reflection ratio of the estimated octane value for a predetermined period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
