Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a temperature of cooling water circulated between an engine and a radiator with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A cooling device 10 comprises: a circulation passage 13 of cooling water; a thermostat 12; and a solenoid valve 25. A high temperature side passage 21 in the circulation passage 13 communicates a cooling water outlet 2b of an engine 2 with a cooling water inlet 3a of a radiator 3. A low temperature side passage 22 in the circulation passage 13 communicates a cooling water outlet 3b of the radiator 3 with a cooling water inlet 2a of the engine 2. A bypass passage 23 in the circulation passage 13 branches from a bifurcation section 24 on the high temperature side passage 21 and joins the low temperature side passage 22. The thermostat 12 is installed at the bifurcation section 24 where the bypass passage 23 branches from the high temperature side passage 21 and switches a flow direction of the cooling water depending on a cooling temperature. The solenoid valve 25 is arranged between the thermostat 12 and the cooling water inlet 3a of the radiator 3 and increases or decreases a flow rate of the cooling water which passes through the thermostat 12 and flows toward the radiator 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
