Abstract:
To suppress intrusion of a combustion gas into a gap between an upper end surface of a cylinder liner and a base metal of a cylinder block.SOLUTION: A cylinder block 1 for an engine is casted and fixed to a cylinder base metal A in which a cast-iron cylinder liner 10 having a cylindrical shape includes an aluminum material.
