Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of detecting the air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas exhausted from a plurality of cylinders for each cylinder while suppressing pressure loss of exhaust gas.SOLUTION: In an exhaust device of an engine that has four cylinders which is continuously ignited, has the exhaust ports of two exhaust valves per cylinder and detects an air-fuel ratio in an exhaust collection part, between a third cylinder #3 and a fourth cylinder #4 whose exhaust periods are overlapped, the opening timing of one exhaust valve 49F, having a longer exhaust passage from the exhaust valve to an air-fuel ratio sensor, of the exhaust valves of the fourth cylinder #4 is different from the opening timing of the other exhaust valve 49R.
