Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection system for an engine, for promoting the atomization of injection fuels from injectors disposed in an intake port and a surge tank so that the harmful exhaust gas reductions due to a high mileage and a combustion promotion can be achieved.SOLUTION: A fuel injection system for an engine comprises: an intake port 19; a surge tank 15; an intake port injector 23 for injecting a fuel into the intake port; and a surge tank injector 29 for injecting a fuel into the surge tank. The intake port 19 is composed of two intake ports 19a and 19b, of which one intake port 19a is equipped with a block valve 39a for opening and closing the intake port injector 23 and a block valve 39a for opening and closing said intake port 19a. The fuel injection system is characterized by comprising a control device 61 for controlling the opening and closing of the block valve 39a and the fuel injection sharing ratio between the intake port injector 23 and the surge tank injector 29.
