Title:
ENGINE FUEL PRESSURE CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016156317
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine fuel pressure control device capable of realizing smooth reduction in fuel pressure when an engine load is reduced while curbing excessive reduction in the fuel pressure.SOLUTION: An engine fuel pressure control device, when predicting future reduction in an engine load (S106: YES), starts anticipatory pressure reduction control to stop pressurization operation of a high pressure fuel pump (S107). Then, when actual fuel pressure PR becomes not more than a lower limit guard value PRGD and lower than target fuel pressure PRRQ (S102: YES) during execution of the anticipatory pressure reduction control (XDPMPSTP=ON), the engine fuel pressure control device performs a lower limit guard process to control a fuel injection amount through the high pressure fuel pump in a manner that maintains the actual fuel pressure PR at the lower limit guard value PRGD (S103).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
